- John Tory is organizing a forum on racial equity this Saturday, but did not invite leaders from Black Lives Matter Toronto who have been asking for a public meeting for the past year
- The Toronto Police Accountability Coalition raised questions this week about police disciplinary processes. Toronto Police are the only force in the GTA where officers prepare their own discipline reports, instead of having an outside party review them. The issue was raised atWednesday’s Police Service Board meeting, but the majority of the board voted to accept a report stating that the process should continue as is.
